SoyUnique began as a simple idea in 2018. What started with gathering materials, experimenting with wax, and designing a logo quickly grew into a passion project focused on creativity and craftsmanship.
In the early days, the brand launched under the name Little Luxuries on Etsy. By 2019, the first handmade candles were being created and sold on eBay, marking an important milestone—turning an idea into real products enjoyed by real customers.
From 2020 onwards, the Etsy store truly took off. Over 780 handmade products were sold, and the brand built a loyal customer base that appreciated unique designs, quality scents, and thoughtful gifting. This period played a huge role in shaping the brand’s identity and confidence as a small business.
As the business evolved, it was rebranded to Dani and Life to align with the accompanying lifestyle blog. Later, with a clearer vision and long-term goals in mind, the brand was officially rebranded once again—this time to SoyUnique. The company was formally registered in the UK, marking the transition from a side project into a fully established business.
SoyUnique previously operated on a Shopify website, and after relocating from the UK to Slovakia, the brand found its permanent home at soyunique.eu, where it continues to grow.
Today, SoyUnique creates unique, fun, and eye-catching candles that not only smell beautiful but are designed to be enjoyed visually as well. All candles are made using 100% soy, coconut, or beeswax, with a strong focus on sustainability. Wherever possible, packaging materials are recycled or reused, helping reduce waste while maintaining quality.
